As the leader and role model for the onsite team, a Kay Community Manager should be highly organized with very strong customer service and problem solving skills. You are marketing and sales orients with a minimum of 2-3 years experience in multi-family operations, preferably in a supervisory capacity. As the manager of top-notch Leasing Specialists, you will learn and consistently apply proven, state-of-the-art sales techniques. You must be computer literate with a good command of Microsoft Office or similar Windows-based software. Knowledge of Jenark® property management software is ideal, but not required. It is essential that you have strong verbal and written communication skills.

A Kay Assistant Community Manager isn't the "manager's assistant," but a capable, organized, and self-motivated professional with strong potential to learn operations and move up to the Community Manager position. You are marketing and sales-oriented with at least two years apartment leasing experience and you have excellent customer service and problem-solving skills. You will also learn and consistently apply state-of-the-art sales techniques. Some Kay Assistant Community Manager positions also require bookkeeping experience. You should be computer literate with a good command of Microsoft Office or similar Windows-based software. Knowledge of Jenark® property management software is ideal, but not required. It is essential that you have strong verbal and written communication skills.

Simply put, a Kay Leasing Specialist isn't just a "consultant," but a professional, highly trained sales expert who maximizes every opportunity to find the perfect apartment for our customers and then closes the sale. You don't have to have prior apartment leasing experience, but you must have excellent customer service and problem-solving skills. We will teach you state-of-the-art sales techniques, which you will consistently apply. You should be organized, diligent, persistent, and have a strong desire to sell (and earn excellent commissions!) on the days that our customer traffic is the highest. You must be reasonably computer literate with a good command of e-mail and word processing. It is essential that you have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

A Kay Service Manager's foremost priority is providing our residents with the peace-of-mind that comes form knowing their homes are kept in top-working order. This is accomplished by your exceptional oversight of all areas of maintenance, inspection, repair, and preparation of each apartment home and the apartment community as a whole. As a "hands-on" manager, you set the example of your team of Service Technicians by demonstration strong organization skills, courtesy to residents, and timeliness in having work orders completed. You must have 5-7 years of apartment/condo maintenance experience with a minimum of two years supervisory background. You also must have HVAC and CAMT - II certifications. It is essential that you be highly organized and professional with excellent communication skills.

A Kay Service Technician is the front-line representative to our existing and new residents. You meet and exceed our existing residents' expectations by responding to their service and repair requests thoroughly, correctly, and in a timely and courteous fashion. You meet and exceed our new residents' expectations by preparing their apartments for a hassle-free move in. You must have 1-3 years general apartment maintenance experience in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry. Some Kay Service Technicians must have the same experience in servicing appliances. HVAC and CAMT certifications preferred. It is essential that you be organized and professional with good communication skills.

A Kay NC Specialist is our curb appeal expert who, along with his/her teammates, is responsible for keeping all areas of the property Neat and Clean (NC) and free of trash and debris. Our residents will be proud to come home to their Kay Apartment Community because of your outstanding attention to detail in cleaning and maintaining all common areas. These areas include, but are not limited to, the pool deck, laundries, sidewalks, parking areas, corridors and hallways. NC Specialists at some Kay communities assist the grounds team in the summer by watering flowerbeds and planters. In the winter, assistance is provided to keep walkways free of snow and ice. Ideally, you will be interested in learning additional skills that will prepare you to advance to the Service Technician position. It is essential that you have good customer service and communication skills. No prior grounds experience is required.
